Dresden Files: GASP
The Pittsburgh Police are in the dark, nearly always have been. In a city that has been devoid of most supernatural entities for near a century, you don’t have much call to ask the questions that lead to the truth. Still even in the dark they aren’t foolish enough to ignore the supernatural, and when things started to heat up they copied what other cities, like Chicago, had done. The Skavis were quick to pounce on that and keep it small.
For all intents and purposes, when it comes to the spooky side, the police may as well be the Skavis personal army, not that the police would understand who or what was pulling their strings. The Skavis like it that way. In mortal terms they are about the same as any other police force, though maybe corruptions a bit higher here than elsewhere.
Regardless, if your walking on the side of the supernatural and need a cop, your best bet is Detective Lieutenant Mahershal Kunwoke, head of Special Investigations. He is a Skavis employee, bought and paid for one hundred percent, but at least he knows enough of whats really going on to maybe be of some help. Unless your running from the Skavis, but then you are already dead anyway.
