Time has passed, and after around ten days from the explosion that rocked the Fanatics Sports Agency, the recovering Harp & Fiddle Club finds themselves still looking into the death of the spring heir, complicated by the increasing appearances of the dead in the region. Already knowing that the Tuatha are coming, and that in some repects with them comes an eventual reckoning, the group works to first stabilize and regroup from the events prior.
Elsa has begun work to set up a reliable group taking a serious look into the supernatural world at her school, while Lansen deals with fallout and revelations concerning his family, and his true heritage. Oswald himself spending much of his time aiding the others. Max found Dion Chase waiting for him in his return to the mortal world, while Griswald sought new living arrangements after the destruction of her previous apartment.
Reunited at the Harp & Fiddle, concerns of gods, the dead, power struggles of fae courts, and more was put aside for a more clear and present danger, the sale of the harp and fiddle to a night club owner. Max leveraged himself to the hilt, Griswald put a lean on her soul, and Oswald manipulated his friendship with the owners to ensure the retiring couple, one of whom was dying of leukemia, to buy it out from under David Caul, whom Elsa determined was in fact the Dagda, one of the Tuatha said to be coming to the city. Elsa then passed out.
Now as co-owners of the neutral ground, the group began trying to research the dead, and found one area which was oddly undisturbed. There they found Ed, a curious keeper of Ed’s Funeral Parlour, recently relocated to the city. Elsa determined this to be Aed, another of the Tuatha, Elsa then passed out. Returning to their bar the group discovers Batman in his form of Michael Keaton being greeted by John Cusack, whom Max discovers is in fact Crom Cruach, a malevolent deity dealing with human sacrifice. Let’s be honest, everyone kind of suspected that of John Cusack anyway. Upon his return to the batcave, Batman also found his ‘boon’, a young Robin, to be his ward and all the responsibilities that entails.
With that much of the busy work the group needed to see to was dealt with, hopefully leaving them ready to take on the task of dealing with the trouble in the city before all of the Tuatha arrive, and whatever reckoning they bring is unleashed.
